Friday, 14 Desember 2007 Kuala Lumpur is a nice place, clean and lots of interesting place to go. We visit Kuala Lumpur for the fist time on our family traveling on Desember 2006, but only for 1 night. We decided to visit Kuala Lumpur on our family traveling December 2007, because lot's of interesting place we would like to know. Kuala Lumpur also having a good public transportation, help you to move around without the taxi.

My family (5 of us my husband with my 3 kids) plus my Parents in Law (Dad+Mom) starting our Family traveling December 2007. My family went to Medan to meet my parents in law. From Medan we flight to Kuala Lumpur by AirAsia. The same Air flight we're used from Jakarta to Medan.Flight from Medan to KL took about 55 minutes. We arrives at night time because as ussual AirAsia always delayed, but it's ok and make sense the Air Flight Fare Ticket so cheap, specially if you booked in advanced or a few months before you go traveling.

You can book my email or visit the web-site: You can get very amazing price like on December 2006 we only pay Rp.2.500.000-, or US$ 250 for round trip ticket from Penang-Medan-Penang for 5 of us (of course my family, me, my husband, Michael, Melvin & Michelle)

From the Airport you can take KL Aerobus to KL Sentral only paid RM 8 for one way ticket or you can buy two ways ticket for RM 14. KL Aerobus Non Stop Service, Sunday to Saturday.7 days a week. Departs every 15 minutes.KL Aerobus From Airport to KL SentralStarted 4.30 am the latest bus from the Airport is 12.45 am. KL Aeorobus From KL Sentral to the Airport Started 3.15 am the lattest bus is 00.45 am

Acomodation? If you arrives late night time because the flight was delay. From KL Sentral you can take a monorail and stop by at Chow Kit Monorail Station.
You only walk for about 5 minutes to the Brisdale Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
About the price "very good price", specially for a family holiday. The room is clean, the reception is very helpful and the area is very easy to reach with a public transportation. The very good things is the food is very delicious for the Breakfast, with Asia & Western Menu. My son Melvin and my daughter Michelle, use to go for swimming after they having their breakfast. We been stay there for 3 days on 27 - 30 December 2007.

I will give you another alternative hotel.

From the Airport you can take a Star Suttle Bus,
cost you only RM 10.
The Star Shuttle Bus route is: KL - Shah Alam - Subang - Airport or
Airport (LCCT) - Subang - Shah Alam - KL

Don't forget to show the driver about the hotel address, as soon as he show you the address, he will stop you at the Bus Shelter not so far from the hotel.

The hotel very close to the KL Tower, you can walk for 10 minutes to KL tower. Lots of food aroud, speially at the night time. Night time is busiest place arround the hotel area. Because lot's of "open air restaurant" are open starting 4 pm until late midnight or even late morning.
Some times there is a "life music" around. The hotel name is Leo Palace Hotel, it's cheap and good for the family.
We were stay there for 1 night on 14 of Desember 2007,
Leo Palace Hotel 12, Jalan Rahmat Off Jalan Ipoh 50350,
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Tel:(603) 4043 5555Fax:(603) 4043 6666

Another Hotel, is around the China Town. If you "crazy shopper" or "shopper mania", you'll better chose this area. Because China Town, is famous with the shopping area. Shop will open at noon time until mid night time. You can buy anything there, but you need to bargain before you decided to buy anything else. For a woman, waw....lot's of very good things to buy. Like a bag, shoes. With a famous branded and good quality. One more time, you need to bargain. If you can drop the price at least half price from the first time.

On December 2006, when we were there we fell like to want to buy all things there. But, we came to KL not for the shopping. But my kids, bought their shoes there. Shoes for school, Basket Ball Shoes and Soocer shoes. My husband bought his Badminton shoes. And my self like another mom in the world always at the last. But, it's ok.

The hotel we were stay Dragon Inn Premium Hotel. Only 10 minutes from KL Sentral by taxi or bus, or you can walking from Puduraya Central Bus Station.
The hotel is along famous Petaling Street in the heart of China Town.
